This Pinnacle Studio 8 for $9.99 AR looks pretty good. Not sure of how good the software is, but I'm sure someone will like it.

I have several clients who bought this back when Amazon had it for free after rebate, and they like the program. Of course, at that price, it's tough not to like it.

Fry's service is exactly what I'd expect from a sales weasel who has to know just a little bit about computers because he needs to know a little bit about hundreds of other non-computer things. There's one or two guys you can ask a real question of there, the rest don't know nuttin'! So to buy stuff there without fear, you just need to know what your gettting, and they just happen to have the best price. But if you don't know sh*t, go someplace where they can explain it in the little words you can understand. And prepare to pay at least 20% more for your lack of knowledge. Cheap at the price, compared to returning to Fry's numerous times for the same item and getting it wrong each time.

dont' buy kaser stuff, their tech support sucks, and also rebate has no tracking method, very hard to find their local number.

No problem, masterxfob. I think most of us who shop at Fry's share your opinion to one degree or another.

IMHO, Fry's believes that many of their customers make a one-time purchase, e.g, a refrigerator or TV so there's no real attempt to cultivate repeat business. Instead, they rely on the low price to make the sale, not the salesman. And they move such a volume of merchandise that losing a customer or two really isn't a big deal.

That Kaser Vid card is garbage... it kept giving me errors, so i had to return it.

The return policy at Fry's is actually pretty decent. You're allowed to return a lot of computer components w/ out a restocking fee.

Pretty Decent. It's the best. You can buy something, run over it with your car and take it back. They won't even blink. They'll just put a quality checked sticker on it and stick it back on the shelf.
