ddr333 = pc2700
ddr266 = pc2100

just run your pc2100 @ ddr266 (same fsb as p4 anyway, 133)

also know anything about this manufacturer or the board itself??

i got screwed about a year and a half ago with some mobo from fry's that stunk after one of these deals..





okay upon further analysis i see another deal....

p4 2.5 with a ECS P4VXASD2 board with 4 dimms slots.... 2 DDR and 2 SDRAM... for 199.99


also how does it compare to the xp2100 deal with the soyo motherboard...








which of these deals is better in your guys' opinions and why? i am so gonna buy one of these.... just got my new blue aluminum case and new monitor... just need a mobo and CPU

Update on the Abit board. I put the 512mb Muskin pc2700 in there that was on sale. Overclocking is so so. I got the fsb to 165 stable with 1-1 or on this board 4-4. 4-5 I couldn't do much with lower than 145 so I skipped it. Mem. scores are low in Sandra 2350/2356 and cpu scores 5276-1941/3912. Oh and no hyper threading. One other think is the temps are way wrong it says my room temp is 104 and it's more like 89 on my other. This is with the case open. Cpu temp is up as well. I'm unsure about this deal. I know I can getbetter for around the same price. If I went with AMD you save a little and spend more on ram. I hope this helps others out there.

Another update on the Abit deal. I put a stick 256mb pc3200 Corsair in it and wow. 160 fsb with 4:5 divider. memory scores 2919/2946 cpu 5090 and 1877/4779 with Sandra. It looks like all this board needed was some good ram. I'm not done, going to try some more. on 4:4 divider got to 171 which is 3080 or somthing like that. I would say it hit the max of the cpu.
