I doubt that they are.

I bought the 2000+ECS combo a couple weeks ago and it was a Thoroughbred

I bought the same combo for $70, which is a good deal. But I don't want the junky motherboard, and so will probably return the combo today.

Since the 2500+ Barton is now cheap, I think I'll be better off with that CPU (vs. a TBred A XP 2000+).

Thanks for the heads up on the adobe software Viper. My favorite tech site Warp2search has been down all week and I must've missed the release.

Do these AthlonXP 2200+ overclock well? I wanna run them at 166FSB instead of 133FSB, is it doable?

this is correct. Now, can anyone verify if they have the "b" cores?

This case was supposedly built for the QUIET

I was just in frys yesterday and did not see any branding on the side of the case..^^the review up above shows it is branded on the side.. I think the one I saw had solid sides.

I was in Fry's today picking up some parts for a new build, and I happened to see a very nice looking black case.

It is the "TurboCase" "XDreamer". It is black with a plexie front. Price $79.00 WITH 350 AMD/PENT approved PS.

This case is really a neat case!

It came with some very cool features. The case includes (2) fans. One is mounted on the side panel (clear window) and has 3 blue LED's, the other is mounted on the top "blow hole" and is UV sensitive!
The case will hold another (6) fans!

Plus it comes with a front LED (glows blue) which shows either case temp or CPU temp.
One of the best features is that the front has built in "flip down" sheilds to hide beige or white drives! So you can keep using your old beige drives and still operate the eject from outside the black faceplate. This is a very cool feature.
I really liked the idea I could use some of my old beige drives without having to purchase new black drives.

The case looks very nice on the outside, and has great features.

If you are looking for a case.... be sure to check it out carefully. I did not realize it had the front drive sheilds that have the eject buttons that allow the drives to eject through flip down face plates... until I got it home.

Thanks "dahunan" and "edplayer" for links to the case reviews. I'll stop by at Fry's today and take a look at this. It's starting to look like I'm going to have a busy weekend transplanting hardware!
