EB doesnt price match anymore. At least thats what the guy at my local EB told me a week or two ago when i tried too. One more reason i shop at Gamestop now.

DeepDiscountDVD has the Limited Edition .hack//SIGN set for $48.34. It's by far cheaper than anywhere else. It's also $48.74 at Amazon, if you have some amazon codes laying around. Either way, free shipping. It's $55-70 everywhere else.

Actually EB's technically no longer pricematch; it is up to the manager now. By meaning "up to the manager" I mean probably no more than $5 off the price. And they have to have it in stock, which is unlikely since EB's get their shipments significantly earlier than targets, best buys, etc.

Good luck; not to say you can't do it, I just wouldn't count on it 100%.

Gamestop doesn't pricematch either. I tried to once and they attempted to convince me that trading in my old games for a discount was equivilent to pricematching. idiots

It does take getting about halfway into the series before it picks up (already saw the fansub version), but if you want painfully slow, try Serial Experiment Lain. After a while you'll be going "Pooooooooowwwwwwwweeeeeeeerrrrrrrrlllllllllllllliiiiiiinnnnnnneeeeeeeeessssss".

Ahh, didnt know that. I havent needed to do pricematch since i found out EB doesnt do it. Thats a bummer though.
