Why? Running a divider doesn't necessarily hurt performance. In fact, running a divider and using tighter timings can result in INCREASED performance over running the RAM faster, but with looser timings.
Its pointless to try and just plug random numbers, INCLUDING other people's settings, into the BIOS. You should test the limits of:
RAM
HTT
CPU
...separately and then work them all together into stable setup.
This guide explains pretty much everything you need to do. RAM settings are crucial with nForce4 boards. If your RAM has a support forum (like OCZ or Corsair) then pay them a visit and ask for recommendations. Try the Abit forums as well; when I was setting up my non-SLI AN8 the
search function at the Abit and OCZ boards were very helpful in finding a starting point for my RAM settings. Leaving the RAM settings to
AUTO on the AN8 boards is not a good idea.
