If this is the same as the spindle I got from Outpost a few days ago, it's got the Taiyo Yuden dye.

The FUJI 16X's were $9.99 (after $10 rebate) two weeks ago. Same discs though, as many of the packs of the 16X's just had a sticker over the old 12X rating on the label.

Well, now that Outpost doesn't have free shipping anymore, these are pretty good...but at Costco (online & B&M) they'll have TDK 100pk CD-R's for $33 with a $18 rebate, making them $15. Not bad. =) Look for 'em Feb. 19-25.

Yes, I've known about that since I got the suitcase of savings thing in the mail last month, and have mentioned it a couple of times on this board inside other posts. However, I believe it is a coupon, rather than a rebate, so you get them out the door for $15.

Random: CostCo coupon is for $12; you still need MIR of $18 to make it down to $15.

Best deal this week on TDK CDRs is at CompUSA: 100-spindle for $30; with a $20 MIR you get it for $10. Word is to get the dual-50 spindles that are Made in Japan rather than the solid 100-spindles that are Made in Taiwan. Better discs.

Try Best Buy for the paper CD holders. Saw some today for $4.99 a pack. I think it was for 50?

Ummmm, the TDK's on sale at CompUSA appear to be 650mb/74min CDs, not 700mb/80min which are the topic of this thread.

Best to compare apples to apples, ya know?

Random: hate to get OT but I have the coupon right here which says $12 off at register, $18 mail-ib rebate.

Oh and BTW for anyone wondering you'll be able to get the same deal at costco.com.
