Fuji 50 pack CD-Rs for $7.99 @ Best Buy

From the Best Buy ad... Starting Sunday, 8/29, Best Buy will be selling a 50-pack spindle of Fuji CD-Rs for $13.99 - $6 MIR = $7.99. I was in looking at them 2 days ago and my Best Buy store had a stack of Made in Japan (TY) 50-pack spindles of Fuji's so this is definitely a good buy.

Is there any point in buying TY CD-R's anymore? I haven't paid for a CD-R in so long, paying $.15 a CD-R doesn't seem that great.

Some people just buy on price (FAR). Some people will pay a little extra for quality (TY). Different strokes for different folks.

Thats what I thought 3 years ago.

Now I am faced with needing to buy some cds.

I had well over 200 cdrs and now I'm down to about 6 or so.

Don't forget that Fuji rebates have been terrible for the past year or so. You will have to fight to get it. Their most popular response is that they can't find your submission, even when you do the online process.

lol. same here. This is when I bought a dvd burner and no longer needed CDs for backups.

Guess what? I bought a new car that didnt have a cassette player (to hook my ipod up to the car system with) and so now I burn music CDs to take advantage of my 6 disc cd player and bring my music with me.

I went from several 50pack spindles to about 15cdrs. I'm tempted to get these, but after what people are saying about Fuji rebates and my experience with them in the past, maybe i should switch over to FAR deals now.

Fuji rebates maybe slow, but IME they alaways come.

How ever I quickly changed my mind when I found they are only 16X CD-R's isgust;
I don't know what my be available at B&amp;M.

that's what they're always listed at. but they burn 40X fine for me

The last Fuji's that I bought were 48X and burned at 52X

I just came back from my local BB. I saw the Fujis and they were labeled as 48x.

but yeah, it may differ from B&amp;M vs online.

The last Fuji I bought were made in Taiwan, labeled something like 32x and can't burn faster than 20x. The party's over with Fuji as far as I'm concerned.

you bought the wrong pack. Never buy anything but 'Made In Japan'.

Usually if a store has the made in Taiwan model of Fuji's, they won't have the made in Japan model sitting next to them. So yes, be careful what you get.

had to search, but found 3 made in japan spindles in the colonial dr bb in orlando, and a few more around those

i had over 400 blanks in my room as of 2 months ago, now i have none....definitely need some more ty deals to stock up
