If you bought a Fuji finePix 1400 between september 15 2000 and january 31 2001 you are eligible for a $50.00 rebate, regardless of whatever rumors you may have heard.

I bought this camera a while ago and heard from many sources that the rebate would not be honored, there is no legitimate reason for Fuji to deny your rebate, do your homework, keep good documentation, and stick to your guns and you will get your rebate!

yoyo1 - shibadad was giving away several original Fuji Finepix 1400 $50 rebate forms in this FatWallet thread however I think they're all gone.

Your best bet is to check as many B&M (brick and mortar) stores in your area, here's some stores where people had the best luck at:

I got mine from MicroCenter, and I didnt hear a thing from Fuji about the rebate status, I just waited three months and it showed up today

WOW! Fuji must have sent out a bunch of the rebates this week because when I got home today mine was in the mail. And get this, THEY SENT ME TWO $50 REBATE CHECKS!!!! Thank you Fuji! The check numbers are consecutive so I guess they screwed up and input my rebate twice. With all the rumours going around about them not honouring the rebate, I had given up on getting anything. This has got to be the best deal I've ever gotten, check it out!

That is good to hear Jmman, and z80, when I bought this camera everyone was saying I wouldnt get the rebate I even called Fuji promotions (number is on the form) and talked to a few people and got pretty much the same response, if you have a rebate form the rebate will be honored, but I did talk to one weasely guy named Jeff who tried to tel me the rebate was dependent on the purchase price :| it is not !!! I pushed the issue and he asked for my name and address so they could track interest in the promotion yeah, umm.. NOT, I said I wouldnt give him my name and he was like ?You wont even give me your name?

Or, as a last resort, you can buy one on E bay, though it will set you back $10, I think. But you'll still make $40.

Got my rebate about two weeks ago.

Fuji told me that is was dpendant on the date, then the amount, then finally they decided that they would only offer the reabtes to those who had the original rebate form (no reproductions). I guess the camera was supposed to be $399 w/ $50 rebate then they dropped the price to $299 and tried to eliminate the rebate (good luck). I don't think they will try that again. I got my from mercata (god rest their soul) and had 2 rebates in the box and later Mercata sent me 2 in the mail, unfortunatley I don't have them anymore (gave them to friends)...By the way I sent in originals and received my rebates today (2 rebates - but I bought two cameras)

After several retailers, I finally got an original rebate form from
Staples in Newark, CA. The rebate form clearly states that an original
rebate form is required.

maxcom - Assuming you can find an original $50 Fuji Finepix 1400 rebate form (from your local Staples, Office Depot, Sears, CostCo, etc.) I would definitely spring for the Fuji Finepix 1400.

I'd begun to think I'd already received (and spent) my rebate. Glad to hear the checks are coming in. Noticed a couple weeks back that the "Promotion Line" number listed on the rebate coupon was disconnected.

Still haven't received mine. Called Fuji a couple days ago. Guy told me they had switched rebate centers and were way behind. He checked on mine and said it was in their system but could not give me a mailing date. (I mailed mine on December 1st!)
