I remember times when usually there was 7IR and 10 MIR, now it's other way around, 3IR and 14MIR :|

Nice post, but since I have horrible luck when it comes to rebates I'd rather wait for another one of those $11 deals from K-Mart.

Yeah - it'll come though. They're 20 day turnaround is a joke in my opinion b.c. my experience is that it takes much longer.

By all accounts, the rebate center has been very backed up. Just got my batch of rebates that I sent out on January 15th, including a $55 rebate that I don't think I was eligible for (think I sent it in too late)

Last time I did these fuji cdr rebates, they were a month late and I called-they said I'd get them in 2 weeks. 1 month later, I called again-they said 2-3 more weeks. I ended up calling 3 times, and waiting an EXTRA 3 months. All this work for $28-it was ridiculous. But because I'm down to my last spindle of cdr's, looks like I have to go through rebate hell again.

Damn, I hate MIR.

Well, as long as I get the rebate, I'm happy. It would be nice, however, for the rebate companies to adhere to the terms of the rebate (6-8 weeks) or what they claim their turnaround. Anyway, Fuji at least come through in the end.

You're in luck then, Kmart has the 50 pack of Fuji's on sale this week. $13. I'll buy my at BB.

Really, is that 13 even or 12.99 or 13.99? Well, anyway, nice deal, although I have to think if it would be better to get 90 for 25.21 (with 6.75% tax here in IL) at CompUSA and then try to get $18MIR. If I get lucky I'll get 18MIR if not then I'll get 90CD-Rs for the same price as K-mart has for $13/50pack spindle.

Hm... scratch what I said before. Did some quick math and it seems that CompUSA has the best deal ATM. I dunno if you have to send in one rebate or three separate ones, but even if you don't get them you still wind up with cheapest per CD price, if you do get it... then the price ratio is still the best around.

K-Mart
13*1.0675/50=$0.28 per CD no rebates

CompUSA
(3*10.99*1.0675-9.99IR)/90=0.28 per CD and then $18 if you are lucky.

BB
(19.99*1.0675-3)/50=$0.37 per CD and then 4 and 10 MIR

A note to those of you who havn't received your FUJI cdr rebates:
Even though you signed up on their website for "faster" processing, you may not even get them unless you call them and fax your info and receipt over!

This has happened to me twice now! But the check eventually comes
to me after I call them.

I dunno, its too much of a hassle to go through two rebates for one spindle, when one rebate only is already a hassle.

I had the SAME experience as you, with these Fuji rebates! However, IMHO, these are the best CDRs you can buy. I'll be at BBuy tomorrow getting a few spindles.

The one time I did the 20 day thing online, it took 3 months to get the rebates. Ever since I've only done the rebates by paperwork and seemingly got them faster. I'm just glad I got them period, though, I never had to call

The last 300 CDRs I've used are Fuji's. They simply the best in my opinion.
