Best Buy has the Fujifilm 50pk spindle on sale again. Dec 6- 9 only. $24.99 - $10 Instant - $5 Mail-In = $9.99.
They also have a FujiFilm 30pk of color CDRs with cases for $9.99 after $5 MIR.

I'd grab one, but I already have 3 1/2 spindles lying around.
(Plus another 4 spindles of Pioneers, plus .....)

Austin (hot name ).. they do burn faster than 16x, i burn them at 20x on my ricoh all the time, just take off anything on your burner like on the ricoh its JustSpeed, that limits the burn speed to the burn max of the cdr..

I PM at CC from BB. The CC clerk didn't realized CC had a rebate also and she PM me the 24.95-10 instant - 5 MIR= 9.95 plus tax for about 10.36. Than the fun part, the 2 CC rebates printed out. She looked confused and threw them away. I realized I can print them out from their website, so no big deal if it made her feel happier.

there's another post about getting these for free by price matching circuit city with best buy's price.. i've confirmed it, it works walk into circuit city with a copy of the best buy ad and have a store clerk call the manager, saying you want to price match. they'll sell you the spindle for $15, and circuit city has $15 in rebates right now for this, limit 2 per household. the store clerk claimed that i got a good deal and i "didn't know" about those rebates that circuit city offers. it works and i walked out of the store with 2 packs and a big smile on my face

m61376 - I did not receive the printed ad either. I just printed out my shopping card (showing price) and another page showing the description from the BB website to get the PM. I ordered online for instore pickup; this may have helped as there was an implied threat of a full cancellation of the order.

IClight - On rebates, I'd rate Circuit City better than CompUsa, but not as good as Staples.

ones i saw were labeled as 1x-24x.

To bad the MIR is only for the 16X, just spent about $25 for the 24X 50-pack. :frown:

BTW, I was able to burn a 4X blank CD-R at 24X, w/ no problem (files verified).
