Saying that you could build a bike frame out of the titanium in 1 cubic meter of seawater is the same BS being spewed about this.
Stop being an uneducated jackass that through their intellectual void are causing us to halt any progress being made to building new nuclear facilities.
Cool! You really think my saying stupid shit is stopping them from building more cheap reactors on top of volcanoes?
I didn't see what your original post was referring to. I was just stating that no, there is not enough titanium in a cubic meter of seawater to build a life-scale bike frame. I don't think posting relevant figures constitutes being an "uneducated jackass," jackass.
Blowing up repeatedly? This is the 2nd plant in history that has had a major problem (TMI doesn't count - it was blown way out of proportion). If this happened to a coal plant or oil refinery, the immediate environmental effects would be a million times worse.
Has anyone posted the point that if control of ANY of the Fukushima reactors is lost, the entire crew now working at the plant would need to be evacuated?
Think about the implications of that for the other reactors at the site.
We do; also stop turning people into newts, or we'll build a bridge out of you.
Fossil fuels burn and turn into CO2 and other combustion gases, and minerals. No radiation.
Actually, the plants blowing up repeatedly even though everyone always says they are 100% safe and risking huge parts of population kinda does that, you are a blockhead. We should use your skull as a neutron absorber for the plant in Japan.
Yes, I burn them in my backyard all the time. It's blue.HD Live streaming from NHK:

LOTS of white smoke coming from number 4 reactor. Does anyone know what is the smoke color of burning spent fuel rods???
Am I upsetting you? Do you own stock in Fukushima? Maybe earn a living building cheap nuclear reactors on top of volcanoes? Get over it.
I have nothing against nuclear power whatsoever. It's the stupid people running the industry who need to be kept on a tight leash as far as I'm concerned and, unfortunately, I don't have any control over them or public perception either.
Tap your sarcasm meter.
CNN reporting that all workers have evacuated from damaged nuclear power plant.
uht oh...
Shit just got real.
CNN reporting that all workers have evacuated from damaged nuclear power plant.
uht oh...
They have countermeasures for that.
With the stakes being so high, how is evacuation even a possibility?
CNN reporting that all workers have evacuated from damaged nuclear power plant.
uht oh...
It's not, CNN is just retarded like usual. Most of the workers have been evacuated. Fifty are still there.
TOKYO, Japan, March 15, 2011 (ENS) - Due to high radiation risk, Tokyo Electric has evacuated the last 50 workers that were struggling to cool damaged nuclear fuel at the the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
TOKYO -- Japan's top government spokesman says that a surge in radiation means workers are unable to continue even minimal efforts at a stricken nuclear plant.
Chief Cabinet Secretary Yukio Edano said Wednesday that work on dousing reactors with water was disrupted when workers were forced to withdraw after radiation levels surged early in the day.
Edit: Some other sites are saying this is a temporary evacuation, until radiation levels abate.
