so anyway, back to stalker. anyone tried the floating point mod?
What difference does it make how long it took me to respond? The point is your statement:so let me get this right, you took over a week an half to respond..
Is directly contradicted by your earlier conmments:I never said that I can't notice anything over 30fps so don't put words in my mouth.
Stop detracting the issue with a smokescreen.you do realise that the human eye can't see any more than 30 fps right?
anything more isn't nessecary and is more of a placebo effect.
Agreed, which makes MoH: PA all the more impressive since it's still pretty snappy @ 25 FPS.there is a "world of difference" between 25 and 30 FPS
To be honest I don't find it particularly better or worse than most games; drops below 60 FPS are reasonably easy to detect.STALKER is quite "responsive" above 30 FPS ... better than many games

If you think you're getting a smooth framerate switch to the static path and you'll see what smooth really looks like.
You'll get a lot more than 45 FPS with static - it'll triple your framerate even when running full AA (which doesn't work with dynamic).i prefer 30+ FPS "smooth" with FDL than 45+ FPS with static ..

I have to chime in and say, sometimes it stutters badly when I'm trying to plug multiple (say) Mercs with my FT200 ,with lightning popping in the background....
I dunno maybe a Vram problem....or lack of cpu or unoptimized coding.
I can't wait to see if one year of hardware advancement fixes some issues...
