been using it a few weeks, there is one that ties into weather.com I use, a calendar, and a daily christian devotional.

edit: wish they had a temp probe monitor though.

Hey All,
if you want additional widgets than what are given on the konfabulator website, try this site also. This has much cooler widgets, which look exactly like the mac ones. It also has a mac Dashboard Dock Clone.

The World Clock II is pretty cool but it doesn't let me add multiple clocks. Ideally i want one for each time zone.

I will certainly agree that the concept is quite cool. But like another poster said, I just haven't seen any widgets (yet) that float my boat. I mean, like I already have a wifi monitor and battery monitor for the laptop, etc., and a freeware weather app.

I guess I have to take a better look at the complete list (which I wish was presented in one large page, unless I missed something) to see what all is there. Or, maybe learn how to make my own.

In the end, I need this to do something I don't already have being done AND do something that I actually need done, too. There's the rub. But, it's cool and free. Tks.

The other site you pointed to is for Dashboard widgets.. those do NOT work with Konfabulator. Please don't confuse the two. They look very much the same, because Apple ( althought they claim it's their own idea ) stole the whole "Widget" idea and the look from Konfabulator.

Uh...No. Look right under Dashboard Widgets. It says "Widgets for KONFABULATOR, Kapsules, Avedesk that emulate Tiger Dashboard. Eveyone of them I have downloaded works fine.

Yeah, I was in NYC for a few days and when I got back I read the news that Yahoo! had bought them...spent a few hours customizing everything yesterday, should be fun

Does anyone else have a problem with a lot of the widgets just not working? like, the pictureframe one (which i really like btw), just doesn't work when you try to open the picture. And I can't get either the fedex package tracker OR the universal package tracker to work at all.

Actually konfabulator was out around the time of OS 10.2 Apple basically copied the idea..

yep. I've been using it for a looong time when It was available for Jaguar. I thought it was the best application back then. I still think it's very cool. Better than Dashboard since it stays open until you close it. Apple totally ripped Konfabulator off, and should have done the right thing by buying out the company like Yahoo did.

when picture fram loaded it choosed the first pic in My Pictures... so
