Our neighbors let their dogs run loose all over the neighborhood. Their kid brings their dogs up to our fence, tormenting our dogs who are trying to protect our property. Our dogs are almost always confined - fenced in. I can't even remember the last time our pyr got out - if she finds a way out, we reinforce it so she can't get out. Electric above the fence, electric 6" from the ground. But, slipped loose while walking her into the gate. Their kid throws rocks at one of our dogs - the one who escaped tonight. So, I've run another strand of electric fence down the middle of our pasture to keep the particular dog who has the most trouble with this away from the area of fencing that is the most troublesome. Wife posted about it on facebook; I suggested that I should really consider sticking up some cameras to be vigilant of these problems.
Well, our dog got out in the transfer to the other side of the pasture - had to be brought through the house and around in order to get to the other side. Other than that, she has no opportunity to roam at all. Ran straight toward the neighbor's yard - their dogs were out, unleashed.
Enter neighbor, screaming her head off, ranting about our dog, and tossed in, "you can't record my kid, he's only 8, that's a lawsuit!" (She apparently saw the facebook post) "I ought to call the cops!" etc. Her dogs run all over, chase cars, have nearly been hit numerous times. *sigh*
