I think I'm going to make a poll that's similar. Right when it asks if you're not an American, it's going to go to a page with an all white background and black text that says "you're not an american. please go away and stop leeching off our country."

I got 18/20 taking the test as a non-american... I found the questions more relevant (history, chemistry, other facts).

After retaking it a couple times... it looks like random questions and I just got an unlucky set the first time I took it .

it's not about population, it's about who speaks what language. The universal buisness language is english. every person who has any ties to the corporate world speaks english.

it's not about population, it's about who speaks what language. The universal buisness language is english. every person who has any ties to the corporate world speaks english.

I suspect that they meant spoken as a primary language, although the question could have been better worded.

Not just the Europeans. The Arabs have done it, the Asians have done, hell, every major culture has raped, enslaved, or dominated the world at one point and time. There is no comparison. The US has NEVER become imperialistic. We have no colonies. In fact, we have saved more asses than all those countries combined. No comparison whatsoever.

Its important that you are aware of, and acknowledge, the bad about your country as well as the good, as I try to do about Britain. America has (and still has) colonies, and has certainly acted in an imperialistic manner in the past - eg installing rulers in other countries because they were more US friendly than the other guy, or to achieve concessions etc. But I think that millennium summed it up damn well; the US is certainly acting better than any previous dominant empire, and hopefully this is a sign that we are progressing a bit as a species...

Perhaps I'm a bit biased, as I like America greatly, but I lived there for a while, and I wouldn't say that American's are stupid, just insular, which given the size of the country is understandable. Also, I got the sense that the american education system was better at producing specialists than generalists, and that people's field of knowledge was a bit narrow after leaving university, but that could have been just me.
