Mods need to sticky this thread as a show of what will happen to you when you mess with Anand members.

Bump to keep this up there.... I wonder if there are any other people really "dealing" with this dude and contemplating sending him money for real?

Off topic of course, and purely out of intelectual interest, I've suddenly had an overwhelming desire to do further research on my virus protection software. To do this I need a virus embeded email. Does anyone have one they could send me? Or perhaps to my close and personal oversees friends?

Back on topic, before I'd buy it I'd certainly expect a faq be sent to me, at sellers expense of course, of a full system diagnostic as performed at sellers local computer store and certified by the local bank. I'd even pay an extra $50 to offset his expense, time, and trouble......

BTW, there has recently been a flurry of fraudulent ebay auctions for Precor Elliptical machines on ebay. One was confirmed by ebay to be a hijacked account. All were private auctions requiring WU money transfer.

Hamburgerpimp,

E-mail him back and tell him you have a mail slot in your front door; so he needs to disassemble the laptop and send it in pieces. That way it will fit through the slot.

so did he respone yet, man I really want to know how long you guys can keep this up..

Oh here's some more info : Even though you are senting money to someone in Romania by Western Union, all they need is the MTCN# to get the amount in which ever Western Union store he/she walks into. He could even walk into the same store that you sent the money from ,all he/she needs is the MTCN # and maybe know the senders name. The Fake Romania location is use so when you are scammed, you wouldn't know what to do and the chances of you going there is 0, and even if you do go there, you'll find nothing cause mostly likely he/she lives in the United States or mabe even next door to you. So only sent with Western Union to people that you know.

Oh, you know what will scare the shiZ out of them.,, first someone has to REALLY sent him by WU, any amount would do. now sent him the number by email. Wait for him to contact you back about a incorrect ammount was sent to him.. now for the fun part

1. reply back acting kinda pissed saying you did indeed sent the $1000 and it even show on your reciept and that you're gonna go down to the W.U. store to get this matter fixed. Also ask the scammer "What's your WU store number that you recieved the transation from so you can tell it to the old Ladie working at the WU office that you sent the money from so they can correct it ASAP.

2. now wait 1 hours and email him back saying.. "Hi, I just read some FAQ on the W.U. main site and you don't really need to give me your W.U. store location number, since there was a complete transation (you recieved my send amount), my W.U. store can contact the exact W.U. store that you cashed the ammount from, and take care of this matter very fast.

3. now you can call the WU customer service and ask to see if your transation is complete (yes?) then say you just want to make sure it's your friend that recieved the ammoun that you sent and see if they can tell you at which W.U. was this CASHED, just to make sure someelse didn't take your money. If they tell you the CASHED W.U. sotre location then you're all set to scared the shiz out of the scammer.

4. wait another 3 hours then email him/she that "your store track down where he/she cash out your sended amount and".............

Well, whatever you do now would make him really scared to ever go into that W.U. ever again.

FWIW -- I'd just about bet he's in Florida ... mynocatee.com (nocatee.com) is located in the Jacksonville area. Not that it really matters anymore (You can get an email on anybody's server...) but it's not a well enough known service to be used by somebody randomly from Romania...

This has sure been fun to watch -- keep it up and keep us posted!

I think what he is saying is that you might be able to get the scammer to spend 50$ of his own $ to have the system 'checked'. Although, the scammer would probably just make something up you might suceed in wasting some more of his time.

We are not permitted to pay a Western Union transfer unless the listed payout location is Gainesville FL..though someone could probably change that location with a phone call to WU.
