I have came into possession of some RAM a while back, marked as 512MB PC133 via sticker. However, they are single sided. They never posted in the system I was working with, I wrote it off as a chipset issue, but now, months later, I've become curious again.
I have a few questions, first : Has anyone ever seen single sided 512MB PC133 chips?
They were heatsynced so I have no way to read the markings to figure out the chip config. I don't have any PC133 setups readily available. I'm going to gues they'd have to be NUTS high-density (128Mb x 32?). You can find single sided 512 DDR chips, but I've never seen single sided PC133. I've worked with 1GB SD sticks for servers, but they're significantly larger than a normal DIMM.
Second: If anyone's encountered these before, do they happen to know any chipsets they'd work with? I did some probing into Intel Chipsets, but didn't find any that sounded like they'd report these things as 512.
Any help appreciated!
