Is satire really quirky?

Napoleon is extremely quirky.....insanely dry and numbing.

Mel Brooks' style....not so much imo.

I think Office Space qualifies as quirky.

I think a lot of people are just listing their favorite comedies.

Yeah, I don't think some people here really understand the term quirky.

Punch Drunk Love is a brilliant quirky movie. Sandler's other comedies are not quirky.

The more I think about it, the more it's a brilliant LotR parody. Mostly by doing what LotR does, but without there being actual content thrown in.

Oh and the Life Aquatic.

Anything with Arnold Schwarzenegger, except possibly the original Terminator, because he didn't have much a speaking role there. And I'm not even talking about the mid-life-crisis movies that tried to be funny too hard.
