What is the best?

Yeah, Space Balls, Office Space (with I rewatched a few days ago, a true classic).

Edit: Ah, yes, Groundhog Day, speaking of which it's Superbowl Sunday this year and my 1/2 birthday (I shall celebrate).

I wouldn't consider a lot of the mentions in here "funny & quirky". Like Office Space is a great movie, but it's not really quirky. It's in fact, a satire on our normal lives and highly non-quirky, which is why it's so awesome.

I would consider "Kiss Kiss Bang Band" a quirky movie. You'll know what I mean if you see it. Though I must admit I didn't really like it. It had an annoying "personality".

Also, my mention above "John Dies at the End" is highly fucking quirky, awesome and hilarious. Just sayin'.

Oh yes.

But when it comes to laugh out loud traditional movies I still maintain that the funniest scene in a movie that I've ever seen is from Ace Ventura 2. When he's in the robot rhinocerous and can't get out, but then finds an "exit". I'm chuckling right now thinking about it.

Pineapple Express also had some parts in it where I was dying laughing.

All of these classics that people are naming are good for a laugh here and there and maintain a general high level of amusement, but they're not really to the point of making you laugh uncontrollably.
