I saw Garry Shandling doing standup once at the Comedy Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. He was amazingly funny.

Good point, there really isn't. I never really noticed the mean streak. My chiro has episodes of the show always playing in the waiting room, I like it when I get there early

Friends just isn't funny. Never was and still isn't. It's about as "funny" as The Big Bang Theory or Mike and Molly

While I wouldn't call Friends as bad as those other turds, it wasn't great.

Seasons 1-3 of Arrested Development will always be my favorite. It was the show that made me realize TV could be funny and how paying attention paid off in jokes. I struggle to this day watching anything with a laugh track because of it.

You're dead right on this -- especially the laugh track part. AD took the looooooong joke to new heights too and made it an art-form.

Cox and Janitor made the show. The JD thing just got so old. "Woe is me I can't seem to keep any of these smoking hot pieces of ass because I'm a D-Bag..." Seriously, the minute you get to nail Mandy Moore, she can say "that's so funny" all day long and I wouldn't care.
