Funny 805 review

I run into this hilarious review.. Look at the scores.. do you notice something? :roll:
And look at those pictures.. heheheh..

Conclusion:

It is an accepted fact that Athlon64 3000 "Venice" is a sandbag for Pentium D805. This single cored processor which has the same price with D805 not only put into shame by the cheapest dual core processor from Intel, but almost being raped in every single benchmark thrown.

Don't even mind Athlon64 3200, even Athlon64 4000 have a lot of trouble beating this cheapest dual core solution.

All advantage and proud owned by Athlon64 suddenly feels like an old hag and cave-men like when they have to face with this dual core Intel processor that has cheaper price.

This Athlon64 can only survive with single core benchmark, which of course getting rare nowadays. Most of current benchmark support dual core. In the end, only primitive software that can run acceptably with primitive processor like Athlon64. It is on contrary with the brother however. When the little brother get so many praise, the older brother have to run amok sweating getting beaten by D805

AMD is proven not able to manufacture a cheap dual core solution, so they will have to accept all every single Athon64 mainstream being slaughtered by D805

Even the cheapest Athlon64 X2 3800 tagged at $360, so it can only classified as high end, which is only a minority product, with only a few buyer compared to mainstream. While AMD show of their Athlon64 X2 to the minority high end public, the AMD mainstream processor(Athlon64) are being mopped by D805

Some people asking whether it is fair to compare this D805 with Athlon64 single core, and not with their cheapest dual core Athlon64 X2 3800

It is more stupid to compare Athlon64 X2-3800 with this D805 because the price difference is $240 (3 times the D805 tag). The cheapest Athlon64 is $370 (comment: I am wondering, why he raised the price over and over again? at first page he mentioned 340, then 350, then 370 )

The picture he put is to stress that those 2 different vehicle has 3 tires, but different thing. Also, there is this picture... Athlon64 package with Kuku Bima. Kuku Bima is kind like Viagra in indonesia. I'll translate:

Weak processor for weak man: With Athlon64 price too expensive for a "crippled" processor, don't forget to ask viagra to the seller. The store should know, that the processor you buy is the exact mirror of yourself

The worst is, he is the official Intel reviewers in Indonesia. He goes from college to college to demonstrate Intel performance to the people. Of course, with his "engineered" benchmark.

The discussion of this review is happenned on CHIP Indonesia forum. I just want to ask you guys, what kind of benchmark we can throw to him?

Obviously not written by somebody with good language skills. If they can't even create complete grammatically correct sentences, how could they possibly even know how to review hardware. What a joke. And their prices are all wrong.

Edit: Now I see those are translations. But they compare OC'ed processors to stock. What a joke.

NOt to mention like some of the half-wits here seem to be surprised or think they are giving us some newsflash that a single core will lose out to dual cores in multithreaded apps....

Also remember that a 3000+ at 1.8ghz is comparable to a 3ghz P4 single core at best...if the 805D was stock it would have lost most of all gaming apps...what would we have said then???

Anybody who makes these comparison in term of performance and not just the fact the 805D is the best dual core bargain are too stupid to be even commenting on them...or just trying to spin a bunch of FUD...

Also interesting once the dipweed got away from the worthless synthetic apps and got into encoding and multithreaded apps he dropped the X2 scores....Other then superpi and one multitasking app he rarely showed the x2...Then in the multitasking app he only wants to show the 4800+ (expensive chip)...

Also interesting how he has a lot of the Intel and lower single athlon chips priced right but is only 260 off for the 4800+ X2...


Total Intel fanboy spreading FUD....Has to be blantant to be this stupid....

that is why you dont stray far from the big sites you have seen for awhile and seen their past reviews...Anandtech has always been fair, though the reviews IMO have been more lame of recent (test used)...I like TechReport...they are straight shooters..Tomshardware nees to be taken with a grain a salt but not early as corrupt as this Intel hack in indonesia...

My X2 oc'd to 2.66ghz beats his cinebench time at 3.7ghz by 16% or ~100 points

***I leave out the fact I paid 500 for this chip soon after it came out because since this reviewer avoids commonsense I will to*** Ofcourse the 805D performance versus what I paid for my X2 (best at the time of its release) is better...should have been where this moron took his article...

How about the sad fact that my 3000+ oc'd to 2.66ghz was only 10% lower then a dual core 2.66ghz chip??? Plus the fact cinebench scales quite well with multicores...

And for the epenis strokers my superpi score of my 3000+@2.7ghz was 30sec...which is 16% faster then a 805D at 3.7ghz and equal to a 4.3ghz P4!!!!! What does it mean to me?? nothing cause I am smart enough not to compare the 2 cayse A) superpi is a single threaded app B) often 1m does not translate to real world well...

if intel had to pay for such "professional" reviews...then they got some issues. a) The prices keep changing from chart to chart, page to page. b) Most benches are synthetic ones, OFCOURSE a dual core beats a single core in those. c) select participants were left out of various charts to make the 805 stay on top
