Funny joke about Asians kids and riceboys

First off, I don't want to sound like a bigot because this is a harmless joke. Well me and my friend went out to lunch(he's cambodian) and we see this asian kid walk into the place with the spikiest hair I've ever seen(looked worse then Sonic The Hedgehog). Anyway, I asked him why the asians kids like to spike thier hair like that(a lot of them do it around here) and he said jokingly:



"They spike thier hair to make it look lik they are going fast"

my senior year in high school (last year), there was a junior that did that (he's white too)...his hair was longer than any asian i've seen...it was like 7 inches long...it was practically an afro...he played on the varsity basketball team and during televised games (on local cable channel), the commentator once talked about it for like 5 min straight...they had a closeup of him several times so you can see his hair in detail...you could figure who he was on the court w/o looking at his jersey #...haha

But your true, everyone does the same. But I think i'm different. I skate (produce videos mainly now), dress prepy looking, listen to alot of rock, don't look like a skater unless you look at my shoes. I look like some geek . But I know alot of people so it makes up for it.

I'm asian also, Its such a hassle, I always think, how long do they have it hold it in place while puffing their hairs like that? Most of the azns in my school now, don't really gel it, they just wake up, comb the bad spots and walk to school.
