my best guess is that my stats are general numbers and not only kids.

that could explain the big difference between your Italy stats and mine (obese as a kid but not as an adult)

And obesity epidemics start with kids. As I pointed out, most people who become fat as children stay fat, or become even fatter as adults. The obesity epidemic in the US started with kids. In fact, in the US seniors are now, on average, leaner than the younger population... the first time in history that has happened.
