My AP supports vlans, I plan to make more once I add a trunk nic into my main server so I can setup the controller software. Might even make a free internet access one, and just put QoS on it to limit it.

Pretty sure it's still broadcasted, it just has a flag to tell software not to display it. Kinda like how "hidden" file shares work in Windows.
