Well, for sure future Hijakings will not go over so easy after this event. In the past, most hijakings resulted in them taking the plane to some result location and making a statement with very lilttle or no people being hurt. I think most Americans now on a plane if Hijaked will put up a much greater resistance even at the risk of loosing their lives with the thought that their not going to survive anyway, and if they at least try, they could save lives. Perhaps this is what happened in the PA flight after the crew found out what was in store for them and their targeted victims.
