i figured out my 82.65v2 driver was not allowing sli to be enabled and all my previous runs were without sli. i went back to stock 82.12 and results look much better

Wow, that was the prettiest slideshow I have ever seen! At stock, i got 1671....and with my X800XL OCed to 430/560, i only get 1791. Geeze, time to upgrade already. First thing on my list, is to get PC3200 memory. Then maybe my rig will last until the end of the year....maybe.

I'm SOOOO happy.
Thats my 2 7800GT's at stock (470/1100) but i'm sure I might get a few more marks when I overclock.

I beat the 1900XT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maby I won't have to upgrade

That's an impressive cpu score for the P-M. My 2.6ghz A64 scored 1030 in the cpu test. I wish AMD added all the fancy cache work that the P-M has, now that would be something.

My modded gto got 1205 in the sm2 test, 0 in the sm3 test.

Not the most exciting benchmark to watch ,Although the updated Canyon Flight and Deep Freeze tests were decent.

My first run results here. , Nothing overclocked on a single 7800GTX 512mb.

Huh somethings wrong with this 3dmark... it just got released and people already get 30+ fps on all tests? Not to mention how much dual core affects the results and how bad x1800 (and x1900 from the looks of it) get trashed when your compare it to real world gaming..I just hope ati wont release some drivers to increase 3dmark performance just cuz nvidia does better.. since games = the real thing...

Now wheres the guy with 2 GTX 512 who will upload a video for us poor guys to check it out?

Wow it likes the AMD though- 1773 for me on CPU on a 2.4GHz AMD vs a 1185 on a 3.9P4?

I can remember getting bent over buy Intel many a time in the old days, glad to see them reduced to this.

It likes dual core CPU's. Which is why a lower "rated" X2 will score higher than a higher "rated" single core CPU, such as a highly overclocked single core P4. Which is pretty dumb to me. By their logic, a 4000+ 6800GS will be less of a gaming machine than a 3800+ X2 and a 6600GT. I think we all know that is not true. There is a huge boost in the overall score for a dual core CPU, when in real games, its not even close to the same amount.

Another problem with this version is that they decided against HDR+AA for NV cards, because its not supported. But for DST24 when the X1K cards dont support it. And DF24 is required in order to use fetch4 and DFC.

Looks like another bomb of a "benchmark", and its relegated to being a stress test for overclocking stability instead.

To compare this pentium, you'd have to compare it to an A64. Those were about the same performance market at the time they came out. Of COURSE your X2 is going to kick the crap out of it!
