Oblivious moron? sure, i have my moments.

Odds are I'm not going down there tomorrow, I just needed to vent my anger. No sense at all in causing a scene over something that can't be proven for either side. I lose, and that sucks.

I'm sure all of you could see where I'm coming from, I bet if this happened to you guys you'd be just as pissed off. And I dont want to hear "well I dont leave my phone places so it'll never happen" or anything along those lines. Nobody is perfect. And somehow I know I'm going to catch some kind of sarcastic shite for saying that nobody is perfect.

Sure do, but would you buy it? I've never lost my phone before, so it's either spend $60/yr on phone insurance or take my chances.. I took my chances and lost. Damn chances.

you sir are lucky you even got the phone back, even in one piece.

keep it on a chain or on your neck if you misplace/lose things too often. it just happened this one was of value or importance.

time to man up and bite the bullet. go get a new one, [a cheap] lesson learned. be smart and dont do it again.

More or less this is just an angry rant and a nice ending to them constantly forgetting the sugar in my coffee..

Time to try a different dunkin donuts I guess.

But you said in the OP "Anyone have any idea as to how I can get this taken care of?" It sounded like you wanted them to do something.

I'd talk to the manager and ask them to pay for the damages since the phone was in perfect working order when you had it in your posession. Might want to first ask the people who found it what happened to it because it didn't look this bad and see if they'll say anything like "Heh, we accidentally dropped it" or something like that. If they do, then they shoudl pay for it. And if not, I'd contact DD's corporate office and let them know that their employees vandalized your phone and are hoping they can make things right before you have to contact the police.

Of course this is all assuming someone there admits that they broke it whiel it was in their posession.

phone insurance + $50 deductable

If you don't have phone insurance, do nto pass go, do not collect $200, and acutally, whiel your at it, please bend over for the reaming of a LIFETIME as you come to the conclusion that your new phone will cost you in upwards of $200 and that canceling yoru fee will cost you $175, neither of which seems like fun.

ALL insurance is a waste of money, except during those few seconds when an incident occurs. Assuming the insurance is $5 a month, then if you had been paying the insurance for the past 4 years, you'd be ahead right now.
