That the box is up and running, and I'm tweaking it some. Thus far, at stock speeds, it runs a 1:35 (give or take) WU right now. Once I've figured out where the max is, I'll update the WU times.

So, besides running some seriously good WU times, what does it do for you? It doesn't have enough drive space for video editing (plenty of drive speed, though). Throw a twin-head video card, dual monitors and a 200+ GB hard drive on there and you'd have some serious video editing power.

ps, that's what I've been dealing with at work - we need a new Video editing suite - it'll be a P4 system, though.

For what I do for a living, video editing doesn't come into play. Also, I've got over 15TB of space..so 2 little Raptors in this box are small peanuts anyway

I realized I forgot to list the Vid card.

I've swapped back and forth between a 6800GT and a x800 XT PE..haven't decided which I like better yet.

What all you want to see? I still haven't gotten it to max yet (I got shafted 512MB of RAM, so I'm waiting on them to send me 2x512MB sticks, rather than the 2x256MB ones they sent...also trying to get Ballistix out of them instead)

On the subject of RAM : Ballistix? You would prefer CRUCIAL ram over Corsair? Or anything else? Not OCZ? Mushkin? Please, for the good of that wonderful machine you have there put some decent ram in it, that FX53 diserves the best.

Steg, if you research the Ballistix a little bit, you'll find that the results have been VERY good, both from the normal users and the overclocking community (and are raved about over on the AMD forums, I might add). That's why I want to give the Ballistix a run. Running the RAM at 250MHz with 2-2-5-2-1T is pretty impressive to me

It's DDR2 it won't work with FX chips
AMD hasn't jumped on the DDR2 bandwagon yet.

I've got 5 fans in my rig (7V), you can't hear my desktop over my ceiling fan...and I've got hunter ceiling fans.

5 120's and a mere 80mm at the top that came with the case.
