It had some good special effects and some bad effects. The super suits were super lame.


Like I said, it was entertaining but it had some bad effects here and there and watching Cobra and Co. miss such obvious details was really annoying.

You get the idea. The guy is an effect schlockster. The Mummy worked because it was fairly fresh for its time (this was before everything was a remake or a sequel) and had some decent entertainment value. Ever since then, everything he's ever done has been shit.

I enjoyed all of those quite much. Mummy Returns was the worst of the bunch because Rachel Weisz became too posh.

I saw it. I enjoyed it for what it is. Rachel Nichols is OMFG HOTTT and cute in the movie. I would watch it again JUST for her. I'm being utterly serious. I'll have to 100% concur with nik here on his assessment that Rachel Nichols is the hottest girl on the planet right now :Q

Well what were you looking for when you were watching the movie? NO CG? Just Plain action? Sorry movies now have alot of CGs in them. You can complain about a movie just becuase it uses alot of CG! I watched this movie yesterday and loved it. Had some funny parts great action, this is a must see movie. The only reason why he does not like this movie is probably becuase he is around 40 years old or something.

Of course it is. You don't see him die and we know full well that the pit viper nanites can reconstruct damaged tissue. He didn't die, he was just eliminated from the situation. i've always like rachel nichols since I saw her on Alias. but alas, not enough to make me watch this. the previews really turned me off for gi joe... I dunno. i've become quite critical of watching anything in the theaters when I have to shell out $10 =P

The one shown when they were kids was great I thought, reminded me of Bruce Lee stuff.

The last battle was ok, but no way he's dead already. I figured Rip Cord would be dead already.

I thought the movie was good, it's nothing like the GI Joe I watched as a kid and I knew it wasn't going to be so I didn't go in with great expectations. Lots of action, nothing over the top and it had a good balance. The two bases were way to easy to invade though and some of the actors/voices kinda sucked.

I saw it Friday afternoon. The theater was packed with adults. Kids don't watch this stuff anymore. G.I.Joe isn't on TV anymore.
