Wife's fam is all there & my sister lives in Hebron. Can't wait!

Edit: Hell damn, the mutton place has been converted to an Italian joint. There is another BBQ place but I haven't tried it.

Well, at least it's close to Paducah and Starnes BBQ

Yep. There's nothing there but you still gotta go. Also, while you are over there, check out Ballard Wildlife Area. A swamplizard should find heaven among the cypress trees. Also, just west of the Shawnee steam plant is a tupelo swamp, definitely worth seeing. And finally, oil up the chain on your bicycle and pedal down to Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee to see the mother ship of north delta swamplands.

The Blue Grass BBQ in La Center used to be pretty good.

Also, cross the Ohio and Mississippi rivers Fort Defiance at normal flow and then come back at flood stage. You'll never think about water the same way again.

Edit: Look up Fort Defiance on Google Earth and set the way back machine to May 2011 to get an idea.
