A turbo timer keeps the engine running. You can't run the oil pump without the engine running.

Then I guess I'm wrong. I thought they had a way of pumping oil wiht hte engine off (using the battery to power the oil pump)...although it does sound stupid now that I think about it.

I can verify that the whole meal deal was in fact running after the key was removed.

nice. it's rare to see another sleeper these days... all you can see seemingly are honda civic dx with body kits and integra typr R stickers and FOB gfx.

as for estimates of power, the intercoler dosent seem water--->air and seems sorta small wand a bad place for airflow(2 seperate smaller intercoolers on the sides instead of 1 medium sized in the middle with the front air dam blocking it probably isnt good. probably 8psi max.(380 crank hp?)

wow, do you know how much a project like this costs on top of the regular sticker for a G35?

If I had the money, my dream would be to Take a brand new Toyota Camry, swap out the powertrain for the most powerful thing I could fit, but leave the car looking completely stock on the outside ( with maybe upgraded brakes/suspension ).

The car wouldn't be a camry any more but I think it'd be pretty damn fun

probably more. it's a TWIN turbo(around 2-3k x 2 just for turbos) and it looks professinally done.

If you made it RWD...it would even be more fun

Yeah unless there's some auxiliary oil-pump turbo timer rig that I've never heard of before, there's no way you can run an oil pump separately from the rest of the engine.

Good question. I assume one is the turbo timer. The screen in one of the pictures has another gauge displayed on it.

I emailed my Aunt today asking if he has an email address I can contact him at so I can get more info.

Some sort of AFC? Those Air-Fuel controllers that let you program in what kind of mappings you want. They also have a bunch of sensors that give you a full readout of your car in real time: throttle position, EGT temps, a/f ratio, boost, etc..

It might be an air/fuel controller, boost controller, or something similar

These cars seem to be extremely popular out here in Hawaii, or on O'ahu, to be more precise... I'm not sure why though. I have to admit, they are quite sexy, and I wouldn't mind picking one up, but I'm more of a practical application person, and this doesn't really suit my needs... still a beautiful car, and lots of fun to drive.

Upon closer inspection (the originals are 1600x1200) I see the following:

Defi Gauges:
Boost on the Steering Column
Water Temp, Oil Temp, and Exhaust Temp in the cluster of 3.
Oil Pressure and Fuel Pressure just above the shifter.
Link Found!

Apline Mobile Multimedia Station IVA-D300. IIRC my grandpa said he had DVD in it.
Link Found!

Defi-Link Control Unit.
Link Found!

What looks to be a Tein EDFC? Readout says front and rear.
Link Found!

Under the screen, it says Greddy e-01. During startup it says Take It Easy with a smiley face . Then later it also has boost psi.
Link Found!

There is also another Greddy controller of some sort mounted to the left of the center console, but none of my shots give me a good look at it.
Link Found!

An Accusump should be able to do that.

im not too big on the massive amount of guages, but yeah nice car.

i dont think he can do 500hp unless he has strengthened his engine internals, because the piston rods are not strong enough to withstand 400hp or so in a g35.
