You can't see anything yet? Shocked based on that forecast. That's like 90-100% for the majority of Washington. The new forecast is still very good for at least seeing it to your north with better than a coin flip of it being directly overhead at 10:24PM PST in Washington. Though not as good as the previous forecast for sure.oh that has shifted significantly. Too early yet.
Yeah, I was just outside...no sign of the magical pretty sky colors yet.dude, it is just now getting dark enough. De-bunch thine pantaloons.
I think that's last night's map...5-11-2024, 0355 UTC was 5-10-2024 at 8:55 pm.So you're seeing it right? The forecast has improved enormously for you through 9:30 PST in Washington state if you have clear skies.

Nice. That explains why pink was all I could see last night since San Antonio was so far away so all you could see was the highest aurora.
Got nuffin.Forecasting another G5 (extreme) geomagnetic storm tonight. If it’s clear where you are head out and look up.
First time I saw northern lights was camping in Conconally probably over 20 years ago. It was all green and the whole sky glowed with what looked like patterns you see if you had a little psychedelic onboard.Apparently a nice show about 75 miles north in Skagit County.
The first and only time I saw them was on a TDY job in Prudhoe Bay, AK.First time I saw northern lights was camping in Conconally probably over 20 years ago. It was all green and the whole sky glowed with what looked like patterns you see if you had a little psychedelic onboard.
Will try to check before I go to bed tonight. Should be clear.Back for a few northern tier states.
