g4560 build vs Ryzen build

Hi,

I have an old Core2Duo E7500 with an HD6870 and 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD. It says everything I think.
I was hoping replacing by a oc'ed Q6600 and modern GPU would be enough as a stopgap measure but using the Q6600 seems hell too slow to me compared to my laptop (i7-4800MQ).

So I guess I need to move on. I have two options.

1/ Reuse an MSI B150 (with only 2 of the 4 RAM Slots working but they I have it for free), get a G4560, decent RAM and GTX1060 (and of course propoer case/PSU). That would be cheaper.

2/ Invest more but with something still going strong in few years:
Ryzen 7 or 5, mobo (but which one?), good RAM ('cos Ryzen pickyness), and GTX 1060.

EDIT: 3/, do G4560 first then upgrade to Ryzen keeping thr RAM.

The thing is, I don't need a hell of a PC but I'm a bit bored and wanna play games again. Of course I'm a bit on cheap budget but I prefer investing wisely.

Is even a 1060GTX necessary or is a 1050GTX good enough ?
I need Dishonored2 to be playable and not too crzappy setings@1080p.

2. Almost all games nowadays are console ports,consoles have very weak cores so almost every game is graphics heavy and cpu light,consoles are not going to change for the next 3-4 years,even the consoles that will come out now are one of the same only with better gpus,if something is good enough today it will be good enough in 3-4 years.

3. possible if you get ddr4 ram,if the mobo supports them.

The 1050ti is too weak to give you all the FPS the g4560 is capable of in 1080p at high settings,if you have the money go for a 1060.

Dishonored 2 plays fine on a g4560 but as you can see the 1050ti is only good for 720p/high if you want to get the g4560's top FPS

Actually if you have the money and find in stock, go with the 580, something like the golden sample from PowerColor, it's faster than 1060's.

That was the original plan but finding an rx580 in stock at acceptable prices looks impossible for now, unfortunately.
Then it would allow Freesync instead of pricier Gsync.

I do not think my PSU is still Ok (380W, 80plus) so I need to change that too.

Looks like 580's are coming more often in stock. might be a time to watch.
That Golden Sample from powercolor looks pretty cool.
