Oof, this sucks. I just put this machine together about a six weeks ago and it appears the onboard NIC is done. It's been flaky from the start, but after a driver update in July it seemed solid until last night.
The only thing I did was open the case to connect the audio header to the front of the case (I just had not gotten around to it). I then closed it up and used the machine for several hours, I playing TF2 when it started to act up. First the NIC would only establish a link at 10Mbps, then not at all. I did everything I could to try and resolve it, either it doesn't link up at all or I get 10Mbps connection to a 1GB D-Link 655 router.
I just put in a 1gb Intel PCI adapter in as quick fix, and it's working fine.
Any thoughts?
