Yeah no kidding. I mean, isnt this what life is about? Killing others? Boom headshot! Score! Yippie.

If the tables were turned you would have this view. Yep. I am sure of this.

Wait, that would mean that a Republican would have to have won a war or got anything done militarily.

I have no sympathy for tyrants of the people. The prick had it coming since the bombing (that killed our GIs) in the 80s, too bad the Republican back then screwed up and failed to get the bad guy.

Empty barrels make the most noise sums up Conservatism well nowadays, quite fitting that your leaders are a bunch of draft dodging crybaby angry/dry/drunk cowards in real life who endlessly talk tough. What a bunch of losers. 2012 is going to be a laugh riot!

You right wingers are being played like a bunch of bored housewives on a soap opera tabloid trip, politics style. Reality does not give a shit about the fantasy world a bunch of arrogant conmen spin on the radio dear. Wake up.

I just turned on Fox News to see how they are handling it.

The hot Megan Kelly spending most of her time talking about Reagan.

If I could do a word count on tonights Fox coverage I bet Ronald Reagan is mentioned more times then President Obama. Chuckle

They also will not mention all the Republicans accusing the President of "leading from behind"

Was there any doubt what would happen to him if the rebels got a hold of him? capture wasn't in the card, and if captured, he wouldn't last long.

"In Tripoli, the Qaddafi family sounded increasingly confident of victory.

In an interview with a French television channel, Colonel Qaddafi’s son Seif al-Islam told the rebels: “We don’t want to kill, we don’t want revenge. But you, traitors, mercenaries, you have committed crimes against the Libyan people: leave, go in peace to Egypt.”

He added: “Military operations are over. Within 48 hours everything will be finished. Our forces are almost in Benghazi. Whatever the decision, it will be too late.”

Air power prevented a massacre at Benghazi and then produced a temporary military stalemate that gave the NTC ** TIME ** to organize, get training, arms, and funding for their rebellion.

So, yeah, obviously, Obama had jack shit to do with this.

Is it me, or did his death coincide with hilary's visit? I knew she was dangerous, but this?

Definitely a coincidence that 1 day before Gaddafi is killed, Hillary is on TV saying he should be dead. More or less she knew Gaddafi was cornered and gave them [her Libyan puppets] the go ahead to kill him and not keep him alive.

Anyways, as bad as he was, im sure the next regime will be worse. Afterall Libya was one of the best places to live at in Africa under his rule [believe it or not]. And of course NATO owns libya now, if it wasn't for NATO the Rebels would have been steamrolled way back in April since most Libyans supported Gaddafi..The Rebels owe NATO a massive favor for winning the war for them and oh they will definitely pay it [in oil and other ways].

I supported the air campaign. My main criticism of it was that it happened way too late and I think that's why this civil war became so long.

Gadhafi's entire family was just routed from the country. Him dead, some family members dead, his heir apparent captured (last I heard). Totally kicked out of that sh*t.

There is the face of the new Libya - a bunch of religious nuts screaming Allah Akbar as they kill Gaddafi [without trial]. Also note that they tied up a Black man on the back of a truck which you can see at the end of the video...Its already well known that the "rebels" dislike Black people and in every city they have liberated, blacks are arrested and often beat and killed.

Lameness, referencing the Libyan insurgents as american puppets, particularly in offering that the former dictator's demise was somehow in our hands at the particular juncture.

More often than not, it's how violent revolution plays out if the former leaders fail to exit. They're doomed. All sense of formality no longer applies. Nobody needs a trial to establish any claims of legitimacy. Those who live by the sword perish by it.

Here's hoping for the best for the people of Libya.

Without outside intervention the Rebels would have been pounded into sand, they were at most 2 days from being stomped out before we intervened dont forget [thats how shitty their "uprising" was going]. So its not lame. NATO [ie- the US/UK/France] won the war for them so they owe those countries massive favors. Nothing comes free in this world and dont be a fool and think "we" helped Libya just out of sheer kindness...
