okay here is the deal recently got and asus V8420S (gf4 ti4200) which i might add is an awesome care because the mem comes OCed to 550mhz and its really nice (3ns i think) ram. anyway i got it, installed it with the latest detantors at the time, installed the old coolbits, with just the one registry entry and OCed the hell out of it. I got to 335core 690mem stable so needless to say it was running great. Then I installed the newer detanators (either 4345 or 4403) and then i had to reinstall coolbits, and when i did a few things happened. First, instead of the overclocking tab starting at my default stock clocks, they were both at 0, core and memory, and went up to 100. So i was like okay, maybe its just a different interface and tried to bump them up, i could bump them both up to like 15mhz individually but if i tried to overclock both at the same time, my monitor goes jumping green lines and i cant see anything and its all different colors and lines... so im guessing that its messed up. So i tried TOTALLY uninstalling nvidia files and reinstalling the 4403 and then the one line regkey coolbits. Again the same crap. So then I did another total uninstall(using nvcleaner both times) and installed the 4403 dets and the "newer" coolbits that is suppose to work with 40 level detanators. Still the same 0 to 100 mhz bar and any change on the two bars at the same time results in messed up screen and having to reset. HELP anyone have experience with this stuff? i dont know why it worked before and somehow wont now... unless its the newest drivers... but others say they have their 4200s OCed nicely with these drivers.... WHAT GIVES... i wanna OC it cause I had it blazing past 4600 speeds but now it won't do squat... any help greatly appreciated... post a reply or email me at flyboyait@yahoo.com.... thanks again!
