well, i may not bite on this card, but there is a nice lil FX5500 I am looking at, I want to wait and see how you guys do first.

I got this same email, I didn't see the date underneath ETA which is supposed to be the estimated date of arrival, which I highlighted.

while you may get a shot at a Best Buy or Comp USA mispricing, chances of getting a deal like this from a sleaze site is prob zero to none

Add another one to the list. Now I've got this one on order, and the deal at Buy.com for the MSI 6800GT + Doom 3 bundle with 10% off. Hardware is much more important to me than games though, so this 6800 Ultra overrides the Buy.com deal even though it's a tiny bit more.

I'm crossing my fingers on this one. I better be extra safe and cross my toes too, and my eyes, hmm, oh and my heart (but I don't want to die?), and my legs, and my arms, and... well I think that's good enough, I hope.

Hello, unfortunately the video card is on backorder. There is no ETA at this time. Your order will be processed and shipped as soon as a shipment arrives. The staff apologizes for the delay and inconvenience.

Bummer. But it does look like they're honoring the price.

Ya, they have made no mention to this being a pricing error and amazingly they have not changed the status or price of the item on their website. I have an ETA of 8/31/04, if it doesn't ship by then I am canceling.

I ordered one, Gateway canceld my ATI order. Since there are no ATI X800XT cards around anywhere I am going with Nvidia now.

Maybe we will get the cards, maybe we won't, I really don't think the won't outways the possibility that we might get the card. Truthfully there is nothing we could lose, it's not like were standing in line at a retail store 12 hours before they open.
