Gainward, ASUS, Leadtek, others...

Hi all.

yesterday I posted on the forum askin wheter to buy an Geforce 4 Ti 4600 or a Radeon 8500 if the
price didn't matter. Answer = Geforce 4.

Now I have another question:
In the same post i said that i would probably buy an Asus or a leadtek card. I was recommended to
buy the leadtek if I chose from any of the above but Gainward was said to be something extra...

So which card should one buy if one wants a geforce4 Ti 4600?

Leadtek, Asus, Gainward, others? And more importantly if i.e Gainward is the best, why?
If you recomend a card please state why that card is to prefer.

GAINWARD, their cards are always top of the line, and they offer the extras like vivo and i/o connectors. Also, they overclock very well.

The gainward for $379 has video in/out, firewire card, ram heat sinks, and dual DVI connectiors with 2 VGA adapters so you can have any combination of monitor/tv output. My card over clocks to 320/750, but I don't really need to overclock it as my processor is too slow to matter much.

Also they have an optional card version that has 3d glasses if you want those.

I've purchased lots of ASUS stuff and have always like them and have heard good things from Leadtek. I got the gainward because I thought it offered more for the money...

Gainward and Leaktek seem to do a bit more with RF filtering that improves 2D quality over other manuf. I think this has been addressed by other manufacturers with the GF4 line but have yet to see a comparison.

I would stay away from Asus, too expensive and you don't get much for your money. I'd get a Gainward IMO.
