Gainward GF3 Ti200 Golden Sample?

Hi,
Is there a golden sample with DVI? I reall want to get a good card that can overclock well, but I also would like DVI... maybe a flat panel in the future.
Are there any other good cards with fast 4ns ram that also have DVI?

I'm running mine 250 core and 550 memory, Gainward Ti200 Golden Sample. Of course I am liquid cooling it. Really good 2D as well.

The gainward is out the 3d prophet is back in. I am almost convinced that I got a defective card. All I did was change the cards, no driver changes or anything and everything is fine. All my games work, 3dmark 2000 and 2001 have no problems, and 2d has no problems. I want to get another one but am not totally conviced I will get a good one. I don't want to go through this mess again. Do video cards sometimes just have problems even though they pass inspection? Why are they inspected if they don't work right after anyway?

Yes, I would say this is true. and not just with video cards but any product. for instance, i recently had a bad experience with a digital camera.
concerning video cards, i had problems with a retail radeon 64 a few months back. games ran incredibly slow. i returned it and game play was much better (the second went back too, because ATI driver nightmares).

We ordered from newegg at about the same time - with my luck i am suprised i did not receive the one you have. i would try another if i were you. the one i received works great.

I have now tested 3 of the Ti200 Golden samples.
All hit at least 260 core and 560 memory with stock cooling, and completed 3dmark 2001 flawlessly.
Using Epox 8KTA3 Pro MB, with AGP voltage up .1v, and fsb at 148MHz.
Too bad they were customers boards and I am stuck with VT GF3 Ti200

Hey Rantis,
Kind of off-topic, but have you had a problem with the mouse pointer in Operation Flashpoint? When I installed XP Pro, I had the gray in-game pointer AND the white desktop pointer on the screen at the same time. I emailed OF's support and they said they were working on that issue and it was cropping up in Win2K, too. I have the Intellimouse Explorer 3.0, what mouse are you using? Thanks!

I also have an intellimoust explorer, but i do not think it is a 3.0
I have not had this problem in OFP. I am running window2000 server...

What the heck am I doing wrong???

I have the Gainward GeForce3 PowerPack Golden Sample Ti450 running it at 220/500. Run 3DMark2001 and I get all kinds of artifacts and corruption on the first test (truck), then my system reboots on the second test (high level). I am using WinXP. AGP Fastwrite is disabled, installed Via 4 in 1 (v 4.36, I think) and have the 23.11 detonators installed. Replaced stock fan with a Blorb. Please tell me its the Blorb, that would be the easy way out.

I could get 3DMark to run on my old 550 w/ Nvidia 128, but I can't get it to run on this machine.

Tell me what to disable/enable, install/uninstall, I'll do anything.

Cany anyone help?

What do you think about ATI FireGL2 quality? [64MB TV/DVI AGP4X for $ 749]
I mean compared to ELSA Gloria DCC (Quadro DCC) and ELSA Gloria III (Quadro2 Pro).
A friend of mine wanna buy that stuff and he ask for my advice,
but I have no experience on that ATI card.
He also ask me why Gloria DCC (Quadro DCC) wrote explicitly "driver optimized for 3DS Max 4.0"
but Gloria III (Quadro2 Pro) only optimized for 3DS Max 2x/3x (as in the specs review).
I wonder why a Quadro DCC is "a step ahead" before Quadro2 Pro for a 3DS Max driver?
[I'm still stuck with a Synergy 2000, and want to upgrade it next year [may be at Feb or March].
By the way, have you ever worked a 3DS Max 4.0 project on a GeForce3 card?
My friend said that it worked but very slow [he uses PIII850, 384MB SDRAM PC133, ASUS V8200].
