Gainward versus Leadtek and Asus...

Gainward CARDExpert GeForce 3 Ti-500TV, the Leadtek Titanium 500, and the Asus V8200 seemed to be the leaders at Tom's Hardware review of GeForce 2 & 3 cards...

Personal experience with either card...would like your input...for gaming...interested only in the fastest versions of each...upcoming GeForce 4 will be too expensive probably...will be purchasing within 1-2 months...

You may choose Gainward GeForce3 Ti500 TV or Leadtek Ti500 TD
Both card have excellent 3D & 2D quality
Don't buy ASUS V8200! It isn't good in 2D quality, besides V8200 is a "classic GeForce3".
Ti500 is about 10% to 15% faster than the classic one.

I have used several Leadtek cards over the past year or so and have been very pleased with their performance. Leadtek offers nice features to their cards and the cooling has been enhanced in the latest versions. That tended to be a problem in the past if a user tried to OC. The "tweaking" tool that comes with them is quite useful as well. Good Luck!

Normally I'd agree with that but I've noticed Asus Ti500 actually has very respectable 2D... much better then that of their other cards.
