I hope they start expanding their portfolio soon in that regards. It's a mighty fine phone, but I realize now I'm not that excited about it because it wouldn't be an upgrade in the display for me as a Note 4 user. I think it would be nice if the Note series became 6" or so. It would better distinguish it from the S series if that's going to be available as ~5.5" from now on. It would provide more space for using the S pen. It would allow for a bigger battery. And with the curved edges now, it probably wouldn't even be any wider than the Note 3/4.
Look at the huawei mate 8, xiaomi mi max, asus zenfone 3 ultra, and other +6in phones selling like hotcakes over in the Asian market yet Samsung is still dicking around with 5.5, 5.6, 5.7in phones like they need to find a sweet spot. The 6incher they do have is a poorly made midranger that gets little to no love by reviewers out there.
I get that they're following in synchronous steps with Apple's gameplan by releasing phones with little updates here and there while continually jacking up the price, but there will come a point where profits will start slipping and we're all going to say "I told you so."
