Galaxy S3 vs Iphone 5

I've got to admit, I went back to the VZW store and held both the 5 and the GS3. I've got to admit, the 5 feels awkward to me. I'd have to case the thing just because it's so light, the shape is kind of odd, and to be honest the edges are uncomfortable. The GS3 actually felt better to me. With that said, I'm not sure if that will sway me back towards the GS3 or not. The "problem" (if you want to call it that) with Android is that I now consider the GS3 an old phone. It's 3+ months old. Surely there's a better Android device coming out next week that I could pick up instead.

The only one that I'd even consider instead of the GS3 is the GNote 2. It's got a 5.5" screen though that while nice and big...might be too big for many.

I'm actually thinking about just picking up the current Nexus or GS3 used if I can find one for cheap. Will give my 4S to the gf and then be contract free in June. It seems like buying used Android phones 6ish months after release and going prepaid is the way to go in theory. I need to run the numbers one more time though since we get a pretty hefty discount from VZW.
