The code is good for 120, you're free to use whatever plan. Netflix only deducts what you owe each month so yea, its billed per plan.

Ah good, can get even more than 2 years worth then as I don't really see a reason to use the 4 stream over 2 stream one.

Probably open up a trial netflix account and apply the codes after that to extend it another month.

Verizon was generous & sent me an S7 yesterday, initial impressions, the phone is sleek & beautiful, has a nice feeling in hand. I will have to see how I fare with a 5.1 inch screen.

I must say I am enjoying the build quality of Samsung devices, definitely a premium look and feel.

A lot of people on Reddit seem to feel the Edge really does not benefit from the edge screen. They'd be just as happy if it was simply flat like the S7.

I really admire how compact the Edge model is this year (makes the 6 Plus series look large and old) but I imagine I'd rather it be a flat model too.

It didn't really matter to me, edge vs non-edge. But since it was tmo BOGO, I said wth why not. Plus the woman was getting the edge so why not me too, just in case there is edge envy lol.

As an edge owner, I've been saying this many times over.
The edge is pretty to look at but useless. Give me a flat 5.5" screen anyday.
The 5.7" Note 5 is actually a perfect size for a big phone.
When I was doing the BOGO, i was real tempted to get the Note 5 for my FREE phone but I knew I could always trade my Edge for a Note 5 if I wanted to.

They're wrong. Samsung is not going to make a phone with glass sitting exposed on a sharp edge. So making it flat would make it wider both actually and effectively (due to hand/case shape issues).

You probably feel blah because its not much of a jump from what you had before? The G5 is pretty intriguing too. I'm a fan of the audio module but if it was only priced reasonably.

Its only great if you get the audio add-on. Its $250 I believe. My LGV10 had it built in and I truly loved it. The 32bit DAC really sounded great. My S7 edge, not so great. I am currently using PowerAmp Alpha 2 on it and it greatly improves the sound with its DAC manipulation capabilities but it's no where near the LGV10.

I traded in my S7 edge for a LG G5 as well, but that was because my home button was sticking. Also I prefer LG over Samsung.

Ii commented when I went into the store to look at them prior to buying that for the average user the extra price of the edge probably wouldn't justify what it adds (additional screen size, larger battery). I do find it more aesthetically pleasing and since doing a bogo went with edges as the per phone difference in that case wasn't much.

Didn't do it for the audio capability. That module is $199 I believe. I don't think I'd ever buy it.

I figured it out though. One, I missed out on the S7 promos. With the G5, I'm getting a free battery and charging cradle, and got a free 10.1" tablet (had to add to my data plan on a 2 year contract with AT&T, who I work for, so meh). Most importantly though, I hate TouchWiz. After using a Nexus 6 for a while, and before that a customized Note 2, and before that a customized S3, and before that a customized G1, I can't go back to forced TouchWiz. Eff that noise.

Inferior in what way, camera? The difference is irrelevant to me. Screen? The IPS on G5 looks fantastic to me, but the S7 did have more saturated color. It's subjective. What else, SoC and RAM? They're identical. I don't think I'd ever use the Edge functions.

Funny how the v10 had it built in but now its an addon in the g5, almost like lg gimped the g5 on purpose so they can have an additional accessory.
Is that addon even available anywhere? Thought it wouldn't be available in north america.

It's so annoying. The sd s7 needs a proper dac but doesn't have one. The G5 doesn't come with it, but is optional but jacks the price way beyond reason. Looks like a portable dac/amp is in my future.

Got approved email from tmo for my bogo, so that would be the last item needed from the pair I picked up from costco (other than the $50 in costco rebates).

Have a spigen case and 2 wireless chargers on the way, will give my thoughts once they arrive.
