Lakers in a close one.
Iverson will show up tonight and the Sixers should get out to a better start than the Lakers who should be trying to shake off the rust. I expect the Sixers to have a lead at half-time. If Philly can get game 1 they have a chance (albeit a slight one)
If Larry Brown mixes it up defensively, like I think he will, he could keep Shaq under wraps (a bit). However, if Dfish is hitting his shots from outside the arc (and I'll be looking for Brian Shaw, believe it or not) it might not matter. With the way Kobe takes it to the hoop (if indeed he does) and with Shaq working it inside, Motumbo might finally see some fouls. Hell, maybe even enough for an early exit.
As always, the key is AI. If "the answer" is "on" he should be able to keep them in this game. He seems to hit the key shots at key times (even if he does jack up some insane shots during the game)
Game one is the one the Sixers need.
Even tho I'm a Laker fan, I hope it's a good series.
