So what? Best player on the team, best scorer on the team, best penetrator on the team, mvp candidate, what does it matter what I call him? He chose to stop playing when the third quarter started.

Okay. But your not getting at anything.

You know if you want me to say Kobe sucks just for you...I'll do it just for you cuz these arguements will never get anywhere and I want to shut you up.

You would be more accurate if you said kobe's attitude sucks. It's been that way since he first came into the league. Same old kobe. what a shame.

You cant judge...since you never watched him for 82 games.Or his career so far.Or met him for that matter.Or no what he has done for the community of LA.Just keep on reading BSPN and get brainwashed while your at it.

Kobe does more for the community and for the Make a Wish Foundation and for other families and for the Katrina victims etc etc ... He just doesn't want it publicized like so many others..IE shaq

I was waiting for your blind hate and immaturity to shine through.. Glad it didn't take long..

You may have gotten the blind hate part correct. Honestly though, I don't know how people can be fans of Kobe. I respect his playing ability, but can't stand him as a person. Maybe if you read his police transcript you would change your mind

I followed the whole thing MUCH CLOSER than you did.. trust me

Katelyn Faber went to her meeting with the Nurse who was supposed to look at her "injuries" wearing panties with sperm from two different men and pubic hair from another caucasian.. NOTHING from Kobe

Aside from the rape allegations, Kobe still cheated on his wife multiple times over and over again with the same woman. Not to mention how selfish he was and could only think about what would happen to his endorsements.

Shows how little you followed it and now you spread your ignorance to others

Show me where it says he cheated on her mutliple times.. If you can then I will apologize to you.

He only cheated once. And DNA testing proved that sex was consensual.

If we're going to talk about MVP candidates...Steve Nash came back from an ankle injury which required a ton of tape after the game and played significant minutes. Can you say that Kobe played with the same heart? Nash might not have played his best game, but you can be assured that he was motivating his teamates and that his intensity never wavered, even when the Suns were up big.

For the record, I really think Lebron should've won it. Looking back at what he did with that Cavs team is pretty amazing. He will definitely pick up some hardware in the future.

Hmmm, never knew that dna testing could prove that the sex was consensual or not.

No I cant. But imo i dont think MVP is defined in one game. With that said I wish the league can give out multiple of these "MVP' awards cuz Nash,Lebron,Dirk, kobe all deserve it

Nobody cares what he does off the court. Most, if not all nba players uphold a good community service image outside the game. He stopped playing in the 3rd quarter.

Too many people are criticizing Kobe and disregarding that Phil may have had a role in what Kobe did in the 2nd half... DUH

Technically if he stoped playing he would of just stood there and gave the ball to PHX.

But all jokes aside your arguement for why kobe isnt MVP or whatever your complaining about is just stupid and arrogant...okay he stopped playing in the 3rd...wow...he'll probably be a future HOF and eventually be on the greatest players list. And Kobe already has 3 rings so MVP(which he'll eventually get) is just icing on the cake

Yeah good point.Phil wanted the game to be played more team oriented and didnt want Kobe to go into scoring mode...but they got blown out very quick so Kobe just sat the rest of the 4th.

Yes,he is a very good player, but he still stopped competing in the 2nd half...great players do not stop competing.

maybe phil told kobe to just dish it off as Phil wants to evaluate those on the court. Its their last game, not better time to do it than now.

I'm sure this off season some people will be saying good bye.

This was just one playoff game out of the 170 some playoff games he has played.I cant believe how much people are magnifying this.

Agreed, MVPs aren't defined in one game. But MVPs don't give up either...if you're an MVP you try your hardest in every game. It's what's expected of you and it's what you get paid generously to do.

Cheers to the Lakers for an excellent series though. Those games were some of the best I've seen and this series is among the most I've ever enjoyed.

Kobe should've won the MVP - most vain player. Didn't even give a flying ****** out there in the second quarter - most VALUABLE player candidates dont do that. And they certainly dont detract from their teammates either. And they don't go around cheating on their wives either, settling alleged rape allegations out of court with $$. And if KoMe really had a brain, he wouldn't have isolated Shaq forcing one of the most dominant guys in the league out.

Nash will deservedly win the MVP - his team won the division despite losing their top three scorers. Six guys, (SIX!!) on his team had career years scoring. Don't think that can be said of anyone else on the Lakers save Kobe, for he clearly makes the other players on his team WORSE.

I agree with you accept for the highlighted part... that has nothing to do with playing the game (unless of course you are fooling around with your teamates wives)

Well just got back from the bar, didn't see most of the game but didn't have to: Congratulations PHO on a monumental upset, only the 8th time in history a team has come back from 3-1.

And for Kobe Cryant: Suck on it MVP (Major Vanishing Performance)!!!!!! Phoenix has a date with the Clips!!!!! That is all, back to your regularly scheduled Laker fanboism.

It's quite clear that Kobe's supporting cast is clearly to blame for the Laker loss. They sorely need a point guard and some better perimeter defenders (not to mention a real center). That being said, they did an amazing job and nearly knocked off the second seeded team in the West. no small feat mind you.

And Kobe has 3 rings already, how many does Nash have? When players look back on their careers it's the rings that matter the most, not MVP trophies. So Nash can keep all of his MVP's, because he will never win a championship with Phoenix and their run-and-gun (aka play no defense) style of play. You have to have solid defense to win championships, and Phoenix has chosen to neglect that year after year and are confronted with the same results.

Why should I bother? I stopped reading right after you posted something like "DNA evidence proved the sex was consensual". Sounds like something Ralph Wiggum would say if you ask me, and I would rather spare myself the torture of reading an argument written by a Ralph Wiggum.
