You may have gotten the blind hate part correct. Honestly though, I don't know how people can be fans of Kobe. I respect his playing ability, but can't stand him as a person. Maybe if you read his police transcript you would change your mind

this is one of the things that bugs me not jsut with the lakers put pro players.

they should be hitting 100% from the free throw line. ok maybe 95%, 5% for intentional misses.

There's a backboard, why don't they ever use it? don't look "pro" if you use the backboard?

Kobe didn't tank, the rest of his team did.

Kobe gave up in the second half. He didn't even try to get to the basket. It was absurd. Who knows what would happen if you don't even try??? There are respectable losses, then there are those where your best player pouts and does nothing.

First off, they didn't lose the game because of free throws. Shooting 15-22 is not that terrible. They lost because of turnovers and for playing at the Suns' pace.

And shooting 95% is ridiculous. Do you really think that on average they would only miss 5 shots out of 100. That'd be crazy

The fact that so many people hate him.

Anyways I'm a LA resident and been a Laker fan for along time. And met Kobe at a Laker community foundation.

So yes I met Kobe personally before and honestly all the bullcrap you here on ESPN is just that...bullcrap.He's a very nice person.

I guess you won't even disagree with what I just said. He didn't even try driving to the hoop. mvp candidate?

Yes I disagree with you I just didnt feel like backing up kobe when I know what this will get into.(Is Kobe MVP? arguement)

The fact that your magnifying and using what Kobe did 0.01% of this season to justify that Kobe is a baby is just stupid.I'll have you know that he is always the first Laker to arrive to pre-game practice and stays the longest. He always wants to play. And always wants to win.It was just a hopeless and disgusting situation to be in for a Laker player.

Edit:Add to the fact that Kobe Bryant is a human being just like us all.I'm sure there have been times where you thought trying wasnt going to get you anywhere. Keep the hating coming,I dont mind it,it's one of the reasons why I like Kobe Bryant...the fact that so many people hate him.

If you're a mvp candidate, you give it your all until the game is officially a blowout in the 4th. This so called mvp candidate chose to quit playing at the start of the 3rd.

Completely agree. Players always talk about leaving it all on the court. Do you honestly think Kobe left it all on the court tonight? Not even close

You're right. He has all the ability in the world. Why did he choose to stop playing? That's kobe. I almost feel sorry for lakers fans.

So what? Best player on the team, best scorer on the team, best penetrator on the team, mvp candidate, what does it matter what I call him? He chose to stop playing when the third quarter started.

Okay. But your not getting at anything.

You know if you want me to say Kobe sucks just for you...I'll do it just for you cuz these arguements will never get anywhere and I want to shut you up.

I can sum up Kobe in one sentence: MJ Talent, without MJ's character or competitiveness. You would never have seen MJ give up like that.

I'm saying if they learned to use the backboard they should be able to do that.

several players have already done 94-95% in the past. link

But this is going off so I'll leave it at that.

You would be more accurate if you said kobe's attitude sucks. It's been that way since he first came into the league. Same old kobe. what a shame.

Katelyn Faber went to her meeting with the Nurse who was supposed to look at her "injuries" wearing panties with sperm from two different men and pubic hair from another caucasian.. NOTHING from Kobe

You know, maybe if he did, you people would be saying that he shot too many times instead right? I guess you just can't please some people around here.

Plus, it's always funny seeing a fanboy call someone else a fanboy.

Well, at least nobody here seems to be a "fanboy" of the Clippers so I guess all the condescending attitude and hostility will cease when they play the Suns.

Um, who am I a fanboy of?

A 15 point deficit isn't even that much at half time, larger deficit have been overcome before. Kobe didn't even attempt to score (3 shots!) and for someone who says they can score on Raja Bell "whenever" he wants...well, that just doesn't make sense. It didn't really even look like Kobe was exerting much effort. Sorry, I don't like it when a player is getting paid millions and they don't play their hardest, ESPECIALLY in a game 7. This isn't Kobe bashing, I would dislike anyone who didn't give their all out on the court.

lol, and now people are saying one of the best coaches ever simply gave up? Phil Jackson is a great coach (even though he had 2 of the most dominant players ever for his championships...MJ and Shaq) and I don't really think he would just give up on his players. Phil Jackson's coaching style is characterized by limiting timeouts. He prefers for the players to work it out on the floor.

You cant judge...since you never watched him for 82 games.Or his career so far.Or met him for that matter.Or no what he has done for the community of LA.Just keep on reading BSPN and get brainwashed while your at it.

Aside from the rape allegations, Kobe still cheated on his wife multiple times over and over again with the same woman. Not to mention how selfish he was and could only think about what would happen to his endorsements.

Can't really blame the outcome on Kobe, it was some of the most pathetic team defense I've ever seen in an NBA playoff game, much less the 7th game of a series. The number of layups they allowed in the half court set was just ridiculous.

What you can pin on Kobe is giving up at some point in the 3rd quarter. The only explanation is that he was planning to let the team concept fail miserably to prove some kind of a point, except what he was doing was so transparent that anybody with half a brain could see what was going on. He'll get ripped monumentally after this game, and for the life of him won't understand -- he'll see it as damned if I do, damned if I don't. Blatantly giving up is one thing you can't get away with.

I'm guessing most of you arent from LA?To know the truth behind Kobe. The fact that he cheated on his wife is very wrong and bad.But it all comes down to what I said before he's a f'ing human being and makes mistakes. You people tend to focus on his negatives than enjoy what he has doen positively to the league and the sports world.I hope you guys at least agree to the fact that he is a very unique player on and off the court.

Shows how little you followed it and now you spread your ignorance to others

Show me where it says he cheated on her mutliple times.. If you can then I will apologize to you.
