When im playing half-life, after a while of playing (could be two hours or 30 minutes) it locks up and i have to turn my cpu off manually. When i start it back up the screen wont turn on for at least 2-3 tries. I have the latest drivers for my graphics card. This all started to get worse today when i installed DirectX 7.0a. When I installed this the game started freezing within 30 seconds. If you have any ideas please help me out, thanks.
P.S. - I have a : P2 300, diamond monster fusion graphics card, windows 98 and the biggest urge to punch my monitor
