The goal of a company is to earn profit, not give it away. They probably have plans for that money. Expansion. More jobs.Ah, so the company increased their income by 30% and he gave all the employees a 4% bonus, 7.5% of the increase they helped produce. That one is a true philanthropist.
It's better than nothing but not exactly a good counterpoint. If it was 50% of their yearly income or even 15% that would be one thing. Regardless, there is always the exception that proves the rule. It's pretty much commonly accepted that those who have no problem screwing over everyone else are the ones that usually get ahead. This is true in the Game of Thrones and in real life for the most part unfortunately.
It gets spent one way or another. Any time money is spent, people benefit somewhere.
