ah, OK that makes sense, then. I do like the Onion guy--wish he would just kill Stannis and be done with it (not that I outright dislike Stannis or think he is evil--just foolish and a bit misguided--but because I find him boring )
I sent you a p.m. This nonsense will end if the mods get info the guy above is continuing to post hints and spoilers, as he has done for weeks. There are still closet book readers toeing the line in this thread with their "predictions" for how things will unfold. That or their are amazingly good at guessing what is coming next. Any of the mods read the books care to deal with it because I don't want to point anything specific out.
Just report the posts; that way you are not spoiling anything for anyone.

The crazy thing about the situation is that if the guy who posted it hasn't read the books then reporting the post would spoil it for him lol...
Well, Stannis's younger brother Renly would also have been a decent king it looks like but the Vag monster ended that. As for how misguided he is, his Priestess does have powers as does the other Priest who follow same god who is with the band of Bandits that Arya was hanging around with for some of season 3.
Stannis's rule would be a bit boring and stuffy if he wins the Iron throne (no more brothels in KL) but at least he wouldn't be insane or dumb like some previous kings, Vag monster aside of course.
....

well, I do think Stannis would be a horrible king and I feel that it was shown earlier that Renley was much better suited for the role, despite Stannis having the best claim. Just because I don't think he's outright evil doesn't mean I think he should be king....
I think it was already mentioned that people can speculate openly, so long as no book reader confirms anything.
For my part, I've never read the books and never will, so anything is pure speculation on my part. So long as no one with book knowledge comments or leads along those lines, it should be fine.
Right, which is why nothing should be done about open speculation, and is all fine and dandy so long as nothing is openly confirmed, denied, or suggested by the nerds that read the books.

It's worth pointing out that Stannis is currently having daily bonfires where he burns heretics alive. And these are the people who SUPPORT him. So, yeah, kind of a shit king.
To be fair I don't think he knows of the vagina shadow assassins (great description).

Davos was the only one with Melissandre when that happened. He definitely knows about the vagina shadow assassins.

He has read the books and has posted numerous spoilers and is one of the reasons we have two threads now. Yet this bastard continues to ruin it for us.
Oh, that's right, he's the one that rowed her there. So Stannis may not be aware of the how, but he definitely made the decision to kill him via Melissandre's magic.
