Well, Stannis's younger brother Renly would also have been a decent king it looks like but the Vag monster ended that. As for how misguided he is, his Priestess does have powers as does the other Priest who follow same god who is with the band of Bandits that Arya was hanging around with for some of season 3.

Stannis's rule would be a bit boring and stuffy if he wins the Iron throne (no more brothels in KL) but at least he wouldn't be insane or dumb like some previous kings, Vag monster aside of course.

I think it was already mentioned that people can speculate openly, so long as no book reader confirms anything.

For my part, I've never read the books and never will, so anything is pure speculation on my part. So long as no one with book knowledge comments or leads along those lines, it should be fine.

well, I do think Stannis would be a horrible king and I feel that it was shown earlier that Renley was much better suited for the role, despite Stannis having the best claim. Just because I don't think he's outright evil doesn't mean I think he should be king....

Yeah, but that guy has book knowledge and has posted spoilers numerous times. I understand your defending peoples right to speculate, but in this instance its clearly not speculation but a game he is playing that is still ruining it for us since many people know of his book knowledge and his prior posting of spoilers.

Yeah, he's a huge hypocrite as well. Takes Davos' fingers for smuggling and always being an uptight righteous asshole. Meanwhile he's sleeping with a witch who creates vagina shadow assassins to murder his brother and killing other kings (or he thinks is, who really knows?) with magic instead of honorable combat, etc...

Not sure why Davos still thinks he's such a great guy at this point. I guess he believes or is trying to believe that Stannis is under the witch's influence and not doing it of his own free will and lust for power.

Who do you think should be king? As far as I know only Dany and Stannis are the only ones from families that have been in positions as rulers of Westeros.

It could also be that the actor who was cast as Stannis isn't the best one they could have chosen, but not everyone can be a Peter Dinklage or Jack Gleeson either.

Stannis has the best claim out of everyone. Well except maybe Daenery. I also feel he is kinda like Daenerys in that he is backed by a more powerful force than men.

That is one thing I liked about the red wedding in retrospect is that is took out the most powerful force that lacks some sort of "magic" except for the Lannisters. Especially since Rob wasn't tapping into Bran's powers (which now I don't care about).
